FAQ

In our Classic Package, each group consists of four guests with one guide, and we typically operate 2 to 3 groups per helicopter.

In our Private Package, you and your guide have the helicopter exclusively to yourselves.

For Semi-Private Packages, we operate two groups per helicopter, offering more flexibility and premium access.

Each package includes a set amount of vertical feet — typically averaging between 15,000 to 25,000 vertical feet per day, which equals around 7 to 14 runs depending on conditions.

Our record is 29 runs and 64,000 vertical feet in a single day.

You might ski more one day and less another, depending on weather and snow conditions. We always aim to ski the full amount included in your package, and you’re welcome to purchase more if conditions allow.

Not at all. A common myth is that heliskiing is only for experts.

Our terrain includes a wide variety of runs — from gentle, rolling terrain for confident intermediate skiers to steeper lines for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

We welcome strong intermediate skiers and even beginners, as long as they are physically fit and ready for adventure.

You might experience fresh powder, light backcountry snow, or Iceland’s famous spring corn snow.

Our season runs from March through May and offers a mix of powder early in the season and incredible corn skiing later — often under the midnight sun.
